From the 27th of september 2008 to the 14th of august 2009, nearly 11 months.
Dozens of hostels and guesthouses.
Dozens of kilometers by foot, by boat, by car, by train, by tuck tuck, by bike, by horse, by moped and more than 65 000 of kilometers by plane.

What we expected of the trip : the meeting, with the other. What we found : meetings, unusual and rich of diversity.

Some beautiful meetings which helped us to discover theses 16 coutries. We had to walk around the world and to try to round it to meet you !!! We don't regret this long travel, this slow progression.

For a minority, we knew you before leaving France, for the majority, we met you during our trip, or because of the couchsurfing !!! French speakers, english speakers, spanish speakers. What a chance to be able to communicate with all of you and what a surprise to see that whichever the continent, we are welcome everywhere, with an incredible kindness.

On espère n'avoir oublié personne.

New York, New York ...

Hi everybody what a great beginning in New York, Manhattan, with Fanny, yes the famous one !!! 1st stay in NYC from the 24th to the 28th of july The 1rst night, we've been to a really great restaurant to taste fish and really gourmet cuisine !!! Before we met a adorable Agneta in her flat just near Central Park !!!! The day after, we went to the beach, Brigton Beach, in Russia !!! We get really wet because of a storm, but it was really funny being in swimsuit in New York !!! We had a really nice BBQ party and danced all night long in Manhattan with the swedish community !!! We discoved a japanese community in New Jersey with food and all you can buy in Japan. On monday, we had a private tour guided by a Fanny's friend in the UN (ONU in french), and a lunch to the restaurant of the UN, with a perfect view !!! We walked on the 5th avenue, admired the Saint Patrick Cathedral, Rockfeller Center, Madison square ... Then we took the train to Montréal, and spent 12h in the train, with a lunch prepared by Fanny, really nice !!!

We saw a Gospel in Harlem on sunday morning (makes me the gooseflesh), the Gugeinheim museum (achitecture and impressionist painters), the famous Moma (Museum Of Art Modern, very interesting), the Cloisters (with many religious ruines from France) and of course the Metropolitan Museum of Art (so huge and so many things to see). We took also a circle boat trip to see Manhantan from the river, the Empire state building to see NYC from the air, and a long walk to explore Broadway, Wall street, Chinatown, Ground zero, Central park ...
And last diner with Fanny and three delicous lobsters, spoil we are !
